The Metafino 150 C ceiling system consists of 150 mm x 15 mm panels made from roll-formed galvanized coil-coated steel or aluminum alloy 3105 coils, with a thickness of 0.5 mm or 0.7 mm. Aluminum panels are powder-coated with 60-micron polyester paint on the front side, while pre-coated G.I. coils have a 20-micron front-side coating and 8-micron backside coating. Panels are secured onto roll-formed carriers, measuring 30 mm wide x 40 mm deep, made of 0.5 mm galvanized steel or 0.9 mm aluminum with prongs to hold the panels in 150 mm modules.
These carriers are installed at a maximum 1.5 m c/c without insulation or 1.2 m c/c with insulation and are suspended from the roof or truss using 4 mm galvanized steel wire rods with adjustable suspension clips at 1.2 m c/c. The hangers are attached to the roof using ‘J’ hooks and nylon inserts. Panels are factory-cut to lengths of up to 5 m to suit site dimensions or architectural drawings. The G.I. edge profiles or wall angles, measuring 24 mm x 24 mm x 0.4 mm thick, match the color of the panels.
